Morale building in King Danylo Halytskyi University of law are focused on training the student to think creatively producing superior employees who can fulfill their creative potential. Moral and spiritual values are instilled through various activities such as assisting with Church services and continuing the tradition of singing Christmas carols with the students and employees of university.
During the academic year there are also many artistic, cultural, sports, spiritual, and patriotic events designed to develop a healthy life style. Among these is the selection of Mr. and Miss University representatives. Other events and opportunities include “The Voice of the University;” the “Dancing Battle”; literary evenings, theme parties and hiking tours.
To celebrate World Tourism Day students and employees of the university hike the highest peaks of the Carpathian mountains (Goverla, Pip Ivan, Igrovets) and visit the castles of Lviv, Lutsk, Kamianets-Podilskyi and the Transcarpathian regions.

  • Democracy - recognition by the academic community of everyone's right to freedom of expression of their creative individuality, elimination of authoritarian methods of education;
  • humanization - creating conditions for personal self-realization, the formation of a human, sincere, benevolent, merciful person;
  • the unity of educational and educational activities - the consolidation of students and scientific and pedagogical workers into a single academic community, united by common morals and ideas;
  • consistency, systematicity and transversality - the introduction of educational aspects in all forms of educational process, the connection of education with life, labor activity of the people and productive labor;
  • differentiation and individualization of educational process - taking into account in the educational activity the levels of physical, spiritual, psychic, social, intellectual development of students, stimulation of their activity and disclosure of creative individuality;
  • the unity of theory and practice - the realization of the students' acquired knowledge, skills and abilities in practice, including self-government and public activities;
  • natural correspondence - taking into account the multifaceted and integral nature of man, age and individual, socio-psychological characteristics of students;
  • the priority of legal consciousness - the education of respect for constitutional rights and freedoms.

The educational activities conducted in the following areas:
1. National-patriotic education:

  • formation of national consciousness and responsibility for the fate of Ukraine;
  • education of love for the native land, its history, restoration and preservation of historical memory;
  • cultivating the best features of Ukrainian mentality (hard work, individual freedom, deep connection with nature, etc.);
  • education of a lucid attitude to the national wealth of the country, language, culture, traditions.

2 Intellectual-spiritual education:

  • development of cognitive interest, creative activity, thinking;
  • education needs to independently acquire knowledge and readiness to apply knowledge, skills in practice;
  • the realization of personal life choices and the construction of a professional career on the basis of abilities and knowledge, skills and abilities;
  • education of the ability to form and defend their own position;
  • the formation of a personal outlook as a projection of generalized worldview.

3. Civic and Legal Education:

  • instilling respect for human and civil rights and freedoms;
  • education of respect for the Constitution, laws of Ukraine, state symbols of Ukraine;
  • education of civic duty towards Ukraine, society;
  • formation of the political and legal culture of the individual;
  • social protection of students;
  • involvement of student youth in participation in charity events and development of volunteer movement.

4. Moral education:

  • forming a sense of self-worth, honor, freedom, equality, hard work, self-discipline;
  • formation of moral culture of the person, assimilation of moral norms, principles, categories, ideals of society at the level of their own beliefs;
  • the formation of the ethics of interethnic relations and the culture of interethnic relations.

5. Environmental education:

  • formation of the foundations of global ecological thinking and ecological culture;
  • mastering the knowledge and practical skills of rational nature management;
  • raising a sense of responsibility for nature as a national wealth;
  • education of readiness for active ecological and environmental activity.

6. Aesthetic education:

  • development of aesthetic needs and feelings, artistic abilities and creative activity;
  • formation of young people's aesthetic views, tastes based on Ukrainian folk traditions and the best achievements of world culture;
  • the development of skills to multiply the cultural and artistic wealth of the people, to feel and reproduce beautiful in everyday life.

7. Labor education:

  • the formation of a person who consciously and creatively applies to work in a market economy;
  • forming a sense of the owner and economic responsibility;
  • development of skills to work independently and effectively.

8. Physical education and promote healthy lifestyles:

  • education of responsible attitude towards own health, healthy lifestyle;
  • formation of knowledge and skills of physical culture in human life;
  • provision of full physical development of students;
  • physical, spiritual and mental temperament;
  • formation of the need for safe behavior, counteraction and prevention of negative habits, prevention of diseases;
  • creating conditions for active rest of students.
